Kadaster aims to fulfill its social responsibility by contributing to the welfare and prosperity of those countries where land administration is still a relatively new issue. Kadaster believes that individual or collective ownership rights form the basis for legal certainty and social-economic growth. This social responsibility is demonstrated by the large number of international projects in land administration carried out by Kadaster. There is a growing international demand for cadastral expertise which Kadaster answers by collaborating closely with the business community, governments, and universities.

Mission
Kadaster wants to share its knowledge and experience and make it available to those countries that need it. Kadaster is ready to cooperate with developing countries and help them with registering and mapping the land that people own. Because that is the basis for legal certainty and economic growth.

Vision
Our vision is to contribute to:

  • legal certainty
  • poverty reduction and economic growth
  • strenghtening the position of vulnerable groups, such as women, indigenous people and farmers
  • sustainability in social, economic and ecological development
  • better housing
  • protection of the environment and adapting to climate change
  • good governance
